I confess I'm not up on what happens in this kind of situation.
Akin won the Missouri primary a couple of weeks ago. He was not my favorite candidate. I thought John Brunner had a much clearer message and the most potential to beat Claire McCaskill, who -- let's be real now -- is the ****ing ENEMY here.
She MUST be defeated in the general election in November.
So Akin opens his mouth and inserts foot.
How can the RNC actually
replace Akin? With whom? Akin won a state-wide primary. It seems to me, apart from allocating money and other types of support, the RNC doesn't have the power to simply replace a duly-elected candidate.
Or am I missing something here?
