Because that was the plan by Pelosi and the Libtards all along.  This whole thing with Fluke was a shame and a set up from the start.

She (Fluke) purposely picked Georgetown because of it's b/c policy.  Pelosi purposely tried three separate times to pull a bait and switch to get Flucke as the "expert" in front of the HHS committee in Congress.

When that didn't work...they faked an event with Dems only...gave the appearance of a full committee meeting and got the soundbites we hear now from Fluke out to the media.

And the rest as they say...is history.

My muddled old brain believes that the Dems months ago vetted every possible VP with any chance of becoming the VP.  Months of finding any kind of dirt on any possible choice.  Ryan was most likely the worse nightmare as there was so little to find.

This Catholic would be delighted to have the opportunity to vote for Rep. Ryan. He sounds like a splendidly sound man.

I can imagine a difference between active Catholics (who vote according to a formed Catholic conscience), and those who are culturally Catholic but only actually enter a church when it comes to family occasions like Baptisms, weddings, and funerals.

I can understand how the Republican identification with Christianity may make some Jews uncomfortable.
