because we could have Medicare for all or some other world-class health care system. Which would make stuff cost 8% less, because that's how much more we pay for goods here thanks to bloated health care costs.

And we'd stop subsidizing the red states big time, like we do now. And have a living minimum wage. And actually tax big corporations and the rich. And all of the other things modern industrialized Democracies have.

And the red states could have their fabulous Somalian paradise. And the lying rich predators that want to cut Social Security can do it: but not to me or other right-thinking people.

Why do we put up with this?

Democrats in red states could come live in the blue states. And we should probably take the infirm, if they want to come, as it may not go well for them when they have the "freedom" to fend for themselves. But Third Wayers can stay in the red states and triangulate away. In fact, they can take our Third Wayers and a grand triangulation orgy could ensue, it would be wonderful to behold. From a distance.

Do these mental midgets really not understand that the first thing "the rich" in their blue state fantasylands would do would be to move out of the 90% tax rate hellhole and into the more fair red state area, bringing their wealth and their production with them? WTF are you going to pay for that magical health care system with? Hemp shirts?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!

That is the funniest thing I have read in a long time.  It does have the slight perfume of mole.

If Texas decides to leave the blue states will be paying $20/gallon of gas. $10/ actual gas price and $10/ in taxes. I would love to see this little experiment go forth. Inside of two years it will be difficult to tell the difference between third world Africa and the United Blue States. Inside of four we would be invading and taking territory....not people.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

What would really happen, NannyGoatStater, is you would have to build walls to keep people from escaping and then your population would slowly start to death.

There would be no corporations to raid. They would all leave before you got the first brick in your wall laid and your starving population would be too weak from hunger to care about that "living minimum wage."  In the end, you would either be pleading for aid from the "red states" you despise or doing a constant 24/7 propaganda campaign blaming the United states for your troubles, just like every other tin horn dictator has done since the start of this great nation.

And let me just end by saying, NannyGoatStater, you are an idiot. Why don't you simply move to Cuba or N. Korea?

That is a great plan.....

Uhh, but, just one little thing.

The blue states are broke.

Is there one blue state with a democrat governer that can afford to seperate itself from the fed?

I like this mental exercise, DUmmy. In typical DUmmy fashion, you have failed to consider the consequences.

Here is the 2008 electoral map of the lower 48:

DUmmyland is made up of four unconnected territories- East Libertopia, West Libertopia, Mexitopia del Norte, and Cubatopia del Norte. Lots of hungry mouths and hands out for "free" government cheese. Not so much farmland, oil, or coal. Look forward to cold, hungry winters.

The red state territory shall continue to be known as "The United States of America". Why? Because every red state shares at least one border with another red state.  I see oil and coal in the red states; cattle, wheat, and corn. With the natural defection of the military from DUmmyland to the USA, they would bring aircraft, ships, tanks, and rail stock with them. The Gulf Coast is a natural and easily defensible free trade conduit with the rest of the world.

Remember all of those warships and planes, DUmmies? How will you defend your territory, with uptwinkles and healing white light? Guess who will control the Mississippi River and the sea lanes? Guess who will be paying tariffs to ship goods in and out?

In six months, who will be our bitches? Suffice it to say, it will be you.

Bring it, DUmmies.  Just bring it.

3. Manny, I like you and even agree with you a lot of the time but no thanks.

What on earth would make you think that those of us who live in the red states want to just up and move to where all you so wonderful people live? Do you think there might be other considerations? Really, honestly the last thing I could tolerate is living somewhere where everyone was just like me. Blech, but thanks anyway.

BTW, what ever happened to raising all, helping all and working toward a better country? Oh that is right, it is too hard. Try being out here in the middle of Teabag country and working toward those things. These kinds of posts are not helpful but thanks anyway. I think I will stay right here. Have fun up there, I have a feeling I would have a problem with those binding votes and policy agreements to allow us all in.

I've met Muserider IRL; she's from Topeka, a musician and horsewoman. For a barking moonbat, she's all right. Kansas is better for having her here, instead of in Mexitopia del Norte.

Pam Dawson, not so much. I'd help her pack, and toss her over the Mexitopia del Norte border fence.

I say invade and enslave. Don't let the indoctrination camps go to waste.

We could take them over in less time than it took Germany to take over Poland.

Why should we divide the US up. All you clowns need to do is move to North Korea and you would have the same problems and about as much much freedoms.

Ya know, this would make an awesome novel right?

I think that Big Dogs map might need updating to start things off.

I think the first order of business for either side would be to secure DC.

Hmmm

It would be fun to write a book with that premise, "Red States, Blue States".

But it would have to be later.

Heh, I kept looking at the map and I can't think of one state that would/could try to pull this off. For that matter how would you line up Governers.

It's just stupid, I thought about it for a bit but...like I said, it's just stupid.

Is there anyone that could tell me one state that would be able to be the anchor of this non-sense and what they could contribute.

I don't see how they would expect great health care after all the competent doctors moved into "America".  I'm assuming they wouldn't want that tainted name for their utopia.

Every few weeks some brilliant DUmmy comes up with the idea of making all the blue states a socialist utopia and teaching us freepers a lesson.

The reality is when you have states full of DUmmies who don't want to actually do any work for anything then those states will fall apart faster than Bill Clinton can drop his pants for an intern.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

As a matter of fact, in their whole thread, this was not mentioned, the supply of doctors.  Didn't even cross their minds, much like the crafters of obamatax.  I wrote my congresscreep pointing this out, and he just waved his hand said, "Oh poo."

There are very few blue states, anyway.  There are blue cities in otherwise red states, but I foresee wars if city-based moonbats want to drag decent and civilized people into seceding.  So, they'll have to settle for taking their little enclaves and trying to make a cohesive nation out of those.
