I say Steve's good friends should keep a journal of his attacks on police and his support of police murderers.

No doubt, on any of those points, I was merely saying that his self-congratulatory post was actually saying (In English as opposed to DUmmish) that he failed to get the total disability retirement he had so long sought, and had been forced to accept a lower-paying job as an accommodation to his perhaps-not-so-totally-disabling injuries, and that he was therefore actually trying to put a good face on the outcome of the lengthy procedural endeavor, which apparently did not play out as he intended when he started down that road.

I can't help but to wonder if his political run derailed the disability train....

I presume this is one of the candidates for Police Chief.  The weeper isn't going to like this.

I would think it had to have had some negative impact.

That job description gets weirder and weirder and weirder.

This sounds very much like what a "security technician" in an insane asylum would do, and so now I'm guessing the job entails "intake and processing" of people recently arrested and about to be tossed into jail.

Steve does a lot of 'intake and processing', as evident from any photographs he is in.

This is probably only a temporary gig.  He has again been nominated to run for VP of the union.

The only man to place third in a two-man race? That should be entertaining!

Steve should think about something before he spends another $1000 of Marta's money on a yard sign. He'll never win. The union doesn't want to assume the cost of his disability scam; it prefers the taxpayers of Omaha to keep Steve in mini-tacos and neckbeard pomade.

Illuminate, please, sir, as I'm not intimately acquainted with how unions in Omaha operate,

It's not like any union there has tens of thousands of members.

Is "vice-president" in this union a full-time paid position, or is it the sort job one does in one's spare time?

And incidentally, what kind of information technology can the Omaha Weeper provide?

He spends all day posting at the DUmp, and he's dumber than an oyster.

Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

The union VP position is a paid full time position.

That would be a dream job for the Weeper. He could spend eight hours a day surfing the DUmp.

Steve is waaay too stupid to be involved in negotiating a contract.

He'd make a gawdawful mess out of grievance resolution.

If he were to be elected, the handful of union people of moderate intelligence would try to keep him as far from union business as possible, surfing the web full time.

The elite, the powers-that-be in the sewer plant (we all live at the mercy of Big Shit) would want the Weeper to play a prominent role in their interactiions with the union.

It would be an interesting struggle.

But the Weeper doesn't have a good track record as a candidate.

Oh my.

There goes the big guy again, chasing his dream of getting a free ride somehow.

The big guy's 55, almost 56, years old; all he has to do is work diligently at his job, be respectful to his bosses and get along with his co-workers, and in 9, 10, years he'll be on social security and a taxpayer-paid city pension, in gravy for the rest of his life.

Nine or ten years waiting for the ease and comfort of retirement isn't that long to wait.

He's spent more of his working life trying to find that free ride, than working.

I'm sure that even now poor dear Marta's silently getting tired of it; after all, she's the one who's had to do the heavy lifting, money-wise, in that marriage.  She won't say anything to him herself, lest he weep, but I'm confident that's the way she really feels; the big lug should stop quit looking for a free ride, some wild dream, and concentrate on bringing some bacon home, so she herself isn't overburdened.

I warned everybody; the big guy's going to be running around looking for a free ride until he's pushing up daisies.

Personally, I'd love to have seen his fat worthless ass wearing that CIB and ripped it off his worthless ass...via that neckbeard.

Maybe, just maybe, there's something else going on here. The democrat party, labor unions, and big city administrations are so intertwined as to become a single entity. It's embarrassing to the party when they can't put forward a single candidate in a race, even if a loss is certain.  Maybe this do-nothing union post was promised to the neckbeard just for serving as dull-witted cannon fodder in the Bellevue council election.

How long before Steve gets charged with a felony because he got caught using a police database(LIEN) to check on the background of a caver?

That would actually be quite serious. If true, I certainly hope it doesn't get smoothed over.

I think Tucker means the big guy might surreptitiously try to check up on members of conservativecave using a criminal database that's limited only to law-enforcement use.

Too bad for the big guy; franksolich has no criminal record, never even a parking ticket.  In my whole life.

Not only limited only to law-enforcement use, but only in connection of a suspect in a crime.

Police have been fired for using it to check out the background of an ex wife's new boyfriend or other such non criminal queries.
