I am loving the pics CG!! I have never been to that part of the country so all is very interesting to me!!

My wife's upset that I didn't include a description of each pic. GEEZ!

She and I need to go through them and rename them accordingly.

obumazombie, I have some of the same pictures of those in that video. Thanks!

I'm in total agreement with her. Snap to it CG... I expect at least two paragraphs with each pic.

P.S. Those pics are giving me the travel itch. You have a great eye for composition.

I think I missed day 5 (6/20). I could be wrong, and I probably am. Why break with tradition?  :tumbleweed: I messed up by not using the actual dates.  :thatsright:

Is that you in the last one CG?  I don't need a paragraph, the pics are cool enough on their own.

What is that round thing above pricing window for?  Did it rotate while gas was being pumped?

If that cross up there is the one in Texas that is a relatively new addition to the state.  I saw pictures of it when it was first completed.  It looked like it was awesome!

The gallons and the total price rotated. The price per gallon was set by hand by the station.

Notice that the price was 0.344 per gallon.

It used to be the biggest cross in the world. Now there's one in Illinois that tops it by 80'.

My wife was really pissed that she couldn't really get the shot of the sign.

CG, you are too modest by far!!! LOVE the pics. It is so hard to believe that though we are in the same country, how different the culture, and  enviroment is...I am so looking forward to one day visiting that part of the country!!

Thanks, Seahorse. I'm afraid of boring everyone here, though. Only a couple of more days, up in Utah though.

Do that in the springtime, when the desert flowers are blooming, or in the fall, when temperatures are moderate.
