I just watched Debbie Dingell and Alfonse D'Amato on Faux News. He repeatedly kept pounding the "facts" that Pres. Obama has had him time to fix things and things have gotten WORSE. He shoudn't get a do-over yada yada.

Why was Dingell unable to come back with FACTS about how many jobs were being LOST when Pres. Obama took office versus GAINED now? Is that truly so difficult?
The best she could do was stammer something about well everyone agrees it is bad now, but Obama will win the argument about what to do for the future.

It was disgustingly embarassing.

The Republicans win the argument everytime even with Bullshit because they all say the same thing over and over and over and the general public starts to believe it. The Democratic surrogates are all over the place.
Where is the full throated defense of Obama and his policies? The full throated attack on the Republican Lies?

Is there no Democratic Frank Luntz who can give them their talking points?

Sorry for length of this whine, but it is so frustrating watching this over and over.

Isn't that weird?

Kind of like how 9/11 was all Bush's fault even though the majority of the planning and staging had been done while Clinton was in office.

Well, that crappy excuse ends for Comcast customers in Massachusetts (and maybe elsewhere) soon. The days of plugging a cable-ready set into live coax and getting basic cable are over. All cable now requires a converter, and all channel tiers are expanding.

The reason is simple -- and will certainly anger the primitives. Because they are to blame.

When one would sign up only for internet service, getting basic cable was a side effect. So, to induce the primitives to throw some money in for the nearly free TV they were getting, Comcast (and others) moved channels loved by primitives to one service tier higher.

It didn't work. The cheapass primitives continued to be cheapass primitives.

So now everybody needs a cable box.

The Military Channel is one of my new favorite stations. They show some great documentaries on that station.

It is for Comcast too - it's part of the 'Digital Starter' package. However, one couldn't get it for free by plugging a cable ready TV into a live cable. And that pissed the primitives off to no end.
