Remember when I told you I unpacked a coupla never-seen MST3K DVDs? I wanted to wait to watch them when I had the house to myself, as this is "my" kind of humor.
So, husband calls me on Sat nite, he's out with friends, and he's decided to spend the night at a buddy's house. I say, "fine, have fun."

I ensconsed myself with plenty of bev and popcorn, and popped in....."Santa Claus Conquers the Martians!"
I laughed from start to finish, and had a great time. The one thing that kept running through my mind was, "how can grown men don these costumes, with those helmets with the goofy bee antennas and vacuum cleaner hoses attached to the side, with a cape for the top dude, and then look at themselves in the mirror the next day?"

Especially the top dude, with his frowny lines between the eyebrows, acting all serious.

I was particularly frightened when Santa Claus makes the Martian children all of a sudden erupt in maniacal laughter, with seemingly no input or cause. It looked like a loony bin, through and through, populated with children. Crazy stuff!
Hooray for Santy Claus! And watch out for snakes!
