primitive sightings
« on: June 09, 2012, 06:13:11 AM »
This was posted elsewhere on conservativecave; I'm not saying where, because I think the lurking primitives should have to look for things here, rather than getting things presented them on a silver platter.

Quote
Frank, it's not likely that I will see Stinkdude since the closest I get to Baltimore is driving past it on I95, but I do keep my eyes open for UP. Someday I will see it!

Quote
Anyway, I do have a DUmmie sighting story to share. About a month ago, I was driving down I95S. It's a long, boring drive so to amuse myself, I like to do a political bumpersticker survey.

It's close to DC and should be a good gauge of Obama support but I rarely see more than two or three. In fact, I rarely see any at all, even local stuff. Darn these apolitical people! On this trip up ahead of me, a small SUV has an Obama 2008 sticker and another blue one beside it. Well, surprise! It's a Hillary 2008. Way cool, that's the first time I've seen one on a car.

Quote
But wait, there's another one. Holy moly it's a DemocraticUnderground sticker. Now my curiosity is in overdrive. Who is it? I must know. Fortunately the driver is cruising at the speed limit and I eventually maneuver myself behind them. I follow for awhile, all giddy with anticipation.

With a break in traffic, I make my move. A slow, but not obvious, lefthand pass will let me see if it's a man or woman. At that moment the driver turns slightly to look at something ahead of me and I get a good look. Damn, it's Jared from Subway. No wait, it's the big man himself. Skinner!

Quote
Well, I'm almost as excited as if I've seen a celebrity. It's the most interesting thing that will probably happen to me all day and I can't tell anyone without a long explanation.

Now, maybe many, or some, of us have actually seen a primitive in real life, but the primitive struck us only as some sort of despondent hate-filled being, nothing more than that.  We didn't know it was a real primitive, even though it may have been.

Has anyone here ever run into a primitive they knew to be a real primitive?

I met a guy who said that Jimmy Carter was the best president we ever had, but I don't know if he was a member of DU. He may have just flown crazy solo. If I would have been thinking clearly I would have asked, but when someone who was an adult during Carter's term makes a statement like that it sort of takes you aback.
“Don’t vote for the person who tells you you deserve something. Just don’t do it if it’s something other than life, liberty, or the pursuit of possible happiness. If everyone is telling you you deserve something, vote for the one who is promising you the least. Be suspicious of the man or woman who tell you deserve everything. Because you don’t.” ---Mike Rowe

I can't prove it but I bet I have. I service the loony left all the time in my home town. I'm surrounded by them!
"Liberalism is an essentially feminine, submissive world view. Perhaps a better adjective than feminine is infantile. It is the world view of men who do not have the moral toughness, the spiritual strength to stand up and do single combat with life, who cannot adjust to the reality that the world is not a huge, pink-and-blue, padded nursery in which the lions lie down with the lambs and everyone lives happily ever after."

I work among them in Albany.  I know exactly what you mean.

Went to dinner with some women I exercise with last night.  It's a given that, because of where I live, the majority of them are going to be some kind of primitive dummy.  Anyway, one of the woman informed me that not only is her son a lawyer and gay, but that he represents the Occuturds in court.  I think she thought I would be impressed, and was disappointed when I informed her that not only was I conservative, but that I thought the lot of them should be tossed in jail.  When one of the other woman decided to tell us how upset she was that that nasty pope was going after the "good nuns" and how happy she was that the friars were supporting the nuns, I decided it was time to go home.

Nothing ruins a good mean like a liberal. :argh:

Does Skinner really count as a primitive?  I think he's a full blown capitalist who is taking the DUmmies for a ride and living well off of them.
