I have (in my eyes) the world's greatest husband...
Paul skimped and saved and surprised me today with a digital copy of Guild Wars 2.

For reasons I can't discuss right now (sigh) I spend a lot of time at home and have been very bored. He thought this might pick me up. He shouldn't have (and I told him thus) but he loves me (and I don't know what I've done to deserve him).

There should be an award for that kind of love.

Please do us all a favor and NEVER discuss the reasons why you spend a lot of time at home.   Mmmkay sport?

When I saw the title I wondered to myself which of the male DU fruit wranglers it would be that posted it because if a straight DUmp female posted such a thing she would lose her feminazi membership. Then my second thought was that thinking such things was stereotypical and that I shouldn't do it.

Oh well, so much for second thoughts.
“Don’t vote for the person who tells you you deserve something. Just don’t do it if it’s something other than life, liberty, or the pursuit of possible happiness. If everyone is telling you you deserve something, vote for the one who is promising you the least. Be suspicious of the man or woman who tell you deserve everything. Because you don’t.” ---Mike Rowe

Probably at home because of a "virus".
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

OH, OH, we all know what guilt gifts are.

Right out of the blue for no reason husband sends flowers or comes home with an expensive piece of jewelery that he says reminded him of YOU.    Husband surprises you with a cruise and once aboard he disappears for hours at a time.   Buys you a nice car but keeps it in his name.

One day he introduces you to his buddy with a knock out wife, you find the couple spend all weekend at your home and you find you spend most of the time with HIS buddy as your husband and his wife are off together to play golf.

I have no problem with gilt gifts, keep the stuff coming, as long as the Hubby hires a buff pool boy, shows up at PTA meetings and dropped everything to take me to a parents hospital bed.

For better or worse is a vow, but this does not mean you have to get the worse, hang in there and get the better.-----The equalizer among the sexes, the male compelled to give guilt gifts.
