I don't know, Portia is obviously the girl in the relationships and as such gets the makeup and feminine look. Portia has looked kinda crappy in the last couple of years. She got very very thin and looked haggard.

As for Ellen, I actually have always enjoyed her. There is something about her being very self-deprecating that I have enjoyed. I don't watch her show, but when I have caught it, she always puts a smile on my face with her fumbling, awkward in her own skin act.

Ditto to this post.  If someone has heard otherwise, please post a thread but I don't recall hearing a lot from Ellen politically.

I guess she doesn't bother me so much because being gay is just a PART of who she is...she doesn't present herself first and foremost as a lesbian, like the Rosie witch does.  Sure she's a liberal hollywood crazy, but who in LA isn't?

I don't care if she is a lesbian and she gets it on with every other lesbian in Hollywood.  She doesn't define herself by that alone.  I absolutely hate when people define themselves by who they choose to sleep with.  I don't have a problem with Ellen at all.
