After all, we all have intellectual property rights in what we have written, but the ideas expressed in our writing aren't subject to copyright.  In future, somebody might remember the idea of this thread, find a different way to express it in words, and post it on a message board about Objectivism.  Perhaps you wouldn't want that to happen, but it might happen nevertheless.

Who wouldn't be proud to spread the joy of pie?  Those who hate pie probably hate puppies, new car smell, and a solid ass scratch.  Those people are already suspect.

I have it on good authority that Socrates, not long before he uttered those immortal words, "I drank WHAT!?!" ordered a double Boston cream pie.  With cool whip.

I don't want anybody to post with the expectation of being banned, or to post without being interested in what is posted.

You failed to incite any interest in your question or its underlying philosophy. No one here is invested in your position, nor interested in third party opinions of it.

I think you would have figured that out by now. How much ****ing pie will it take?

I was hoping that somebody might post my questions on some message board(s) about Objectivism.  I was hoping to see how Objectivists respond on their message board(s).  I wasn't hoping to have a philosophy discussion here.
Probie,

Post your own questions on other boards. We are not your bitches.

I don't post on boards that have banned me.
So lemme get this straight. Someone here is supposed to post your existentialist sh!t on DU cause you got yourself banned?
Boojatta you are pathetic.

No pie for you. But Big Dog get an extra piece.

It seems to operate on a number of false assumptions about us.

When it's assumptions are shown to be false it does not correct its assumptions, it assumes we are at fault for not accepting its assumptions.

I feel like I'm watching one of my yard birds chasing hither and yon in pursuit of some indiscernible stimuli.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

Booj seems to have a mysterious fascination with rules, and manipulating them, rather than just posting whatever is really going in his or her mind.  Perhaps it is part of the Gulag zek mentality from having to survive over 10,000 posts on DU, but in the free world it comes across as being as pathological as saving bread crusts in your pocket for the escape attempt when you've already been set free and gotten a job in a bakery.

Do you have some special talent for determining how many views are from people who posted replies and how many views are from lurkers?  I have reached no conclusion about the opinions, interests, or attitudes of people who lurked without posting.  This reminds me of a couple of DU threads that illustrate the workings of the DU noise machine and the DU outrage machine.  Perhaps I'll post those trips down memory lane in the DUmpster forum here at CC.

It's not a special talent, new meat. It's a counter on each page of CC, but you must have 1,000 posts to see it.

Good luck getting there, pie hater.

I made Banana Split Cake and Fruit Pizza over the long weekend.  I feel both terms, cake and pizza, in these names are misnomers.  My opinion is that they are both actually pies and they're both incredibly delicious!

There's as many kinds as you like.  Here's one from Paula Deen.

I have not had a good berry pie since me and my ex got one from a farmers market outside of Auckland. She was a psychologist with a minor in philosophy. I asked her what she thought of pumpkin pie one and she said it sounded gross and weird. So I concluded kiwi's are not very objective about pumpkin pies.

It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.
