10 yrs nights and weekends, I worked at Northrop corporation before merging with Grumman and they were nice enough to pay 100% of tuition, books, parking and registration fees.
This was in the mid to late 80's so I am not sure if they are still as generous.
My backup plan was to work in a trade such as Plumbing if I were not able to pay for tuition without assistance.
My parents were very grateful that I did not cause them any financial distress with MY schooling in their later years and they were able to enjoy their retirement. I hated every minute of the time I had to spend in Boston and I do everything I can to avoid that city even today.
