This Romney bouncy, even if it were true, would have to be viewed in the context of 1965.

Forty-seven years ago, there was no such thing as a "hate crime" (whatever that is), and "bullying" was a normal part of school life.

Thousands of perverts were jailed for what the law described as "crimes against nature".

So the Washington Post is back peddling. Appearantly they know they are full of crap. They need to bring out Obama's past like they are trying to do with Romney. Compared to Obama, Romney is a saint. He never drank, never did drugs, never smoked, Been married for almost 50 years to the same women - and never cheated on his wife, raised five wonderful kids, has a number of wonderful grand kids, donates 7 million to charity. How about obama?

They always seem to skim over that part, don't they ? What Dead Ted did should have carried the penalty for involuntary manslaughter. (Vehicular Homicide didn't exist at the time IIRC)

The short of it is if Dead Ted wasn't illegally operating a vehicle (intoxicated) this woman would not have died. It has nothing to do with being able to save her, or panicking, or memory loss, or whatever other crap the left spews to excuse Ted Kennedy. He chose to get smashed, drive recklessly, and took a life. Period.

Which reminds me - Remember when the Liberals were all over GW Bush for driving home drunk, at a few miles an hour because he was overcompensating ? Nobody died, nobody was injured - but it certainly disqualified President Bush in their minds...

This Romney forced haircutting story is the same thing.
