There's a reason why hate crimes laws exist in the United States. It's because of people like Mitt Romney who attack people because of their perceived membership in a certain social group. In this case, Romney assaulted that young individual because Romney perceived him to be a homosexual. It was clearly bias-motivated violence. Hate crime.

Mitt Romney shouldn't be anywhere near the Presidency and it's as simple as that. This is very serious. This is not like smoking a joint when you're in high school.

Uh, DUmmies, if you read the article for comprehension instead of what you want to believe you find out:

Romney had no idea what the kids sexual orientation was. "Gay" wasn't part of the lexicon back then.

It was 50 years ago. Everyone changes with time.

All the article talks about is Romney and his friends. Maybe the kid was an ass. He did eventually get kicked out of school so he wasn't a model citizen.

Given the very serious issues our country is dealing with no one is going to give a rip about what someone did 50 years ago.

Too bad the press wasn't as vigilant about delving into 0bama's past.

Romney hazing someone who he had no idea at the time was gay is nothing compared to obama mixing company with the people he mixed company with. They are known socialist and terrorist. They liberals didn't care about that, but they do care about something the happen with Romney 50 years ago. Once again they prove that they are hypocrites.

Also, Obama admitted in his autobiography, the same one that he admitted eating dog in, that he bullied a 12 year old girl. So this has no traction.

Yeah, the one thing Romney did 50 years ago is so much worse than Obama hanging around Ayres and Wright. Oh my Gosh! Give me a break. The liberals are going to make such a big deal out of this, but yet they will just blow over what Obama did. It is like I said, you can be a serial killer, and as long as you have D after your name, you are fine enough to run for President.

They will do whatever they can to distract from Obama's terrible record. Anything. They don't want to bring up the issues because they know he will lose by a landslide. Obama is the modern day Jimmy Carter.
