Screw gas, I am more worried about diesel.
Nobody ever seems to talk about that.
Even when you see reports on the news whining about gas prices, occasionally you see the sign in front of a gas station and it shows that the price of diesel is more expensive then premium.
The price of gas goes up and you whine, the price of diesel goes up and everybody payes more for everything.
Hell, I can snuff out a cigarette in jet fuel and its probably more pricey then diesel, and are you watching the price of kerosene?
If I recall correctly... the price of diesel jumped over the price of gas when the fed gummint made the refineries produce low sulfur diesel. I've never had a diesel vehicle now... but going up the same highway to work for 20 years now I always remembered diesel was a lot lower than gasoline on the gas station signs until a few years ago.
I have noticed that propane has gone way up too. Not sure why either. Around here we got the marcellus shale and natural gas is at a 15 year low around these parts. What I am sure of is that the federal gummint is involved somehow.
