So your mother fell and was afraid to get help because of FOX News? That's just crazy. And if she did refuse why didn't you do the right thing and call 911 and have her taken to the hospital? If she's over 65 she has Medicare & a supplement or Medicare Advantage. There's no reason to think your mother would sit there and die! I have never seen any show on FOX, even the ones that are political shows that don't have someone from the right or the left, pro vs. con, prosecutor & defense lawyer.
How dare you spit on your dead mother's grave by telling the world she was too stupid to understand an insurance (Medicare) that she's probably had for years. A program that any pharmacist is happy to explain and help choose the right policy, senior centers, even medical receptionists have some knowledge. Or from a family member. My grandmother is 93. She watches FOX as well as her local news and I make sure she understands her options, what her insurance covers. I've spent hours online researching and talking to her to make sure she understands her different policy options she.
YOU let your mother down. YOU could have helped her understand her Medicare options like other families do. It can be a confusing maze. Instead of blaming a television station why don't you look at your indifference. YOU could have prevented this. If nothing else YOU could have MADE her go to the hospital. It's almost like you wanted her to die so you could tell your little story.
