Remember that the famous DUmmy BenBurch suggested the DUmmies arm themselves for protection against we nefarious "freepers" (I don't post at FreeRepublic).

He told them to go out and buy .32 ACP pistols.  I think that's a GREAT IDEA DUmmies!  Please go out and get yourself some .32 ACP pistols.  I'm being helpful...really.
To be really, really safe, I'd suggest they buy derringers.

Two shots, deadly accuracy, and excellent at long range.

Hey DUmmies, you claim we are stalking you, well just what do you call what you are doing to Limbaugh now? Under your definition, you are stalking Rush.

What the hell's up with this "centimeter" shit?

We are in the US of BY GOD A, dammit!  Speak English!  30 centimeters is around 1 foot.  14 keystrokes vs. 6.  Now, wasn't that easier.

Leave that foreign shit to the foreigners, nadabrain.

Bingo.

This is why it bothers me that the primitives know we're observing and studying them.

They get inhibited, they stop being their natural primitive selves.

We learned all about the domestic arrangement of the bathrooms in the old dude's house, during a time when the old dude had no idea, no idea at all, he was being watched, and so he was totally frank and honest and open.

But after the old dude learned he was being watched, he became more secretive.

We want the primitives to act their natural selves.

I always wondered the identity of the primitive who tipped off Mrs. Alfred Packer, who had heretofore been blissfully unaware of us, making her run away from her pals in the cooking and baking forum, for another example.  If grasswire wants to blame anybody for chasing the hippywife primitive away from Skins's island, it has to be whatever primitive it was, who told her; it most definitely wasn't franksolich.

If you watch an ant colony for any length of time you will see that the ants spend a great deal of time breeding, stockpiling food and then caring for the young. That way there will be a constant supply of replacements to take care of the colony, but alas! the DUmmies have aborted all of their progeny, there will be nobody left to take over.In the mean time the DUmmies scurry around in mindless tasks trying in vain to shore up a colony doomed to failure. Keep it up DUmmies we love to watch you fail.

A centimeter is a kind of a wormy bug with about a bazillion legs.

If you're in the woods, roll over an old log and you can see lots of centimeters scurry around.

Me neither, but it sounds damned pretentious for someone to be using "centimeters" instead of "inches" on a liberal political forum where the average IQ is a negative number.

I remember a push to go metric back around the Carter era.  But we stuck with the Brits (although I have no idea why) Imagine if we still used shillings and pence and drove on the wrong side of the road. :hammer:   One of the big reasons not to back then dealt with re tooling costs.  Of course I had to have two sets of wrenches to work on my Chevy which had both metric and SAE in '86?

Well, I DO drive on the wrong side of the car when I deliver the mail in my 78 Malibu, which is half metric and SAE, but I've owned metric wrenches since the 70's, to work on my Japanese dirt bike (Suzuki), my parent's car (Mercedes diesel), and the engines on 2 of our IH tractors, dating back to 72.

I have found that you can use metric wrenches on just about everything, but there are very few metric nuts and bolts that can be turned with a SAE tool.

Metric wrenchs..... :lmao:...when they first started to appear around here most of the future Obama voters called them "Mexican wrenchs"....and some still do.

I miss my 78 Malibu wagon with the small V8.  It was running like a top when I sold it but the headliner had fallen out of it and it didn't have child proof locks or something like that.    Yeah, I guess it did have both metric and SAE now that you mention it.

IH of course is another story.  In the early seventies I use to sell auto parts.  Owners of IH were pretty well conditioned to have the build sheet with them.  IH changed vendors like a woman changes shoe styles.  Carbs, electric, u-joints you never knew who they had used if you didn't have the old part in hand.  International Harvester was a very apt name, they harvested parts from everyone.

In the beginning the Lord made Vice Grips, and the shade tree mechanics saw they were good for all sizes and shapes.    :hammer: :censored:
