Excellent choice, CC.
I gotta comment on this a little bit.
Gustav Holst was a Brit and as a Brit, he happened to be partial to the euphonium, my preferred instrument.
The standard orchestral instrumentation does not include the euphonium, but he incorporated one in this composition in both soloist and supporting roles. Listen to the piece again, especially around 2:18 and then the exchange with the trumpets at about 2:54. Stellar stuff, no pun intended. Extra added bonus for this being the Chicago Symphony. CSO arguably has the best orchestral brass section on the freakin' PLANET.
Other composers rarely have used the euphonium, but this is perhaps the most well-known composition that uses the instrument. Often, the Brits will bring in a euphonium player to play the part; in other circumstances they'll forego the 2nd trombone part and he'll play the euphonium part. (Anything to save a buck.

)
Anyway, I'm delighted you selected this piece. Epic stuff! h5!
