The whole problem with the left is its penchant to divide people. Leftism only works if minorities--of whatever stripe--are pissed off and consider themselves victims.

Which, of course, goes against everything America was founded on.

Thus the "99%" versus the "1%". If they were to become successful in redistributing that wealth, they'd move on the 90% vs. the 10%, and on to the 75% vs. the 25%, the 60% vs. the 40%, and so forth until everyone is at the same level of enforced mediocrity.
