The reviews seem to be pretty good on the Blu Maxiest.

Anything has got to beat spending $6 a pack.

I smoke socially (ie. not at all) and still cringe whenever I buy a pack.

$6 a pack? you're talking $7.49-$10 or more per pack in NY/NJ.

A pack of Marlboro is nearly $7 with taxes... $6 and some change.

The price of beer has gone up as well but not nearly as much.  If they tried that tax-to-death shit with Bud Light around here, they'd have a riot on their hands.  I can't imagine handing out cash like that every day for cigarettes.

$53.07 tax included per carton here , which is the way I buy them since both of us smoke.

That's about what I spend on beer in a month.  How long does a carton last?

Beer prices are pretty reasonable around here, the Politicians are afraid to raise taxes on it because they know they'll have a revolt.

The last I saw, about a month ago, premium cigs at the Indian smokestores were $3.50 a pack.

We were actually ordering them from the Indian Reservation for a few years, until Congress passed that law.

And I have to buy for both my husband and I. If we're able to switch to the E-Cigs? we'd save over $400 a month.

I would do it in a heartbeat.

It would probably make a good gift for somebody.

We're both willing to try it, we've talked about quitting for awhile now just didn't know how.

We go through 3 cartons every two weeks, but a lot of cigarettes get wasted burning out in ash trays.

One more tax increase and I'm going to look for something different.

I ordered the trial from V2 but I think I'll go to CVS or Walgreens to try theirs.

Maxiest, what is the Blu like?

Menthol light. The express kit is compatible with their line, so if I like it, I'll just add on. Beats $55 a carton that's for sure.

It's ok.  I smoke Menthol so I bought the Menthol one.  It seems to have gotten better as I have used it.  One thing I found from reading the E-Cig forums is that there just is nothing that compares to the cig taste... burning paper, tobacco and other chemicals.  And what they call Throat Hit.

I am hoping to have a little better experience with a non-disposable.

Just got back from Walgreens and picked up the Blu Tobacco Flavor, it's interesting, I bought 1 each for me and my husband, we'll see how he likes it when he gets home.

We are up to $9.57/pack for the 2nd tier brand (USA Gold and the like).  Marls would be $11 or so.  Can you believe that?  I feel terrible for obviously poorer people at the convenience store, they just can't quit.  They get so angry at the clerks!

I can't seem to go 100% with vaporing, but I cut by half.  So, with discipline (put that down and pick the other up!), I can make a pack last 48 hours.  Hope to improve from there.  Seems like they're doing more and more product improvement.

Oh did that piss me off when congress made it illegal to ship the smokes from the Indian reservations.  I was steaming mad, still am.  Assholes.
