Had this big go around with Ex years ago.
He claimed that a child old enough to go into the millitery had the right to drink.-----Talk about a big fight.
Any kid old enough to go to war had the right to drink or do what adults can do-------@&$^$
He believed that even if it was against the law to give minors booze, at 17 the parents should allow it., the kids were old enough to die for their country they should be given adult rights.
All went to hell in a shit bag when our oldest child a girl turned 17.
All went to to hell when the boys hit 17.
New directive from the family superior, only the kids in the service should be able to have the rights of an adult.
His children had not finished highschool and were not in the military. No adult rights for them at the age to give their life for their country.
So why were the kids allowed to drink on base clubs but not off base.???
Darn I think I burned his mind out trying to explain the inexplicable.
Weed never came into our lives untill we had teenagers, kids seemed ok never acted as they we drunk, just very happy at the time. What did we know coming from a generation that could spot boozers.
Question is here if one has a son 18 years old in the military and they come home on leave, do you give them a drink that they canot get leagely outside your home ???? Do you also give your daughter a senior in highschool
the same age a shot of Gin????
