Lemme see 300 worth of equipment that can stand the rain, or average 1500 worth of professional rigs that can't... so a bunch of journos apparently went and bought these small rigs for secondary work when it rains cats and dogs.

That made finding the dang batteries all kinds of fun.

First of all. The pros have been shooting in the rain for a long time.
They know how to protect their equipment.
They've been aware of that model since it was introduced.
Secondly, your high mp density chip, is NOT going to provide the results of a pro rig.
Thirdly, 1500 is about the minimum for one pro quality lens.  They go up from there.
Nads, your either stuipd, a liar, or both.
I suspect both. :bird:

BTW, Nads, are you aware high end pro rigs are weather sealed?  Thought not.

I think the DUmmies believe they will be the ruling elite just by virtue of posting support on DU. The revolution will seek out their disabled 400 lb a$$es, and grant them authority and power based on the number of posts.

Took a minute to check nads, photos.
Pretty much exactly as I expected.
Image quality on par with compact, fixed focus digitals.
Subject quality and composition. Very poor.
Doesn't even garner "cub" reporter status.
Her photo-journalist ability is only matched by her linguistic ability.

Why the Dummie Disability of course!!!!  Apparently it is a pretty severe disability. Way I understand it... it causes those afflicted to lose all self respect and motivation to the point where they have no problem depending on others to pay their way thru life. In latter stages, it affects the brain to the point that they are completely delusional and think it is a human right that others provide for them. It also causes them to think that anyone that doesn't think like exactly like them is an evil raaaacist hater and said raaaacist haters want to see all people die a horrible death from drinking dirty water and breathing dirty air. It also affects the brain in such a way that it causes those with the affliction to throw temper tantrums like a 4 year old when they don't get their way.

Nads -- professional cameras are fine in bad weather - the only thing that might mess them up is dropping them in deep water and leaving them there for too long. Rainstorms and puddles will do nothing to them.

The run on cameras is because they are a hot Christmas item.

-It seems to me Cub Reporter Nads has gotten her own story wrong.
