At BigGovernment, they had a pic of an occupy mob, for this topic.  I was struck by one sign, out in the forefront.  It said:

"Audit FDIC-Insured Derivatives"

I can get behind that.  Who knows what sleazy slimey deal Barney Frank and Co. concocted? 
The sign seemed TEA-partyesque to me.  It's so financially conservative.  Do your Due Diligence and Audit your Instruments!  Now!

I'd love to see them try LAX, maybe they can get themselves some Federal charges...in addition to a beat-down from the pissed-off travelers and airport security.

I've been in only an hour or so, and am not finding anything about the occupation.

Drudge however reports that a shortage has driven the price of butter in Norway up to $500 per pound.

Did the yenta by any chance show up today?

well they did manage to slow things down for a while, but not quite close it.

For san diego it was impressive, but that it about it. I need coffee... I need some grub... got my exercise today... and file a story and then will go deeper into this here as well.

As far as I know from when I left, there were four arrests and no injuries...

Local news says "dozens" of protesters marched 4 blocks from Chicano Park to the port entrance, in the rain.  The police kept them from blocking the gates and port traffic was not disrupted.  6 filthy hippies were arrested.

Ultra- liberal protestor douches have long believed in using children (From infants to teenagers) as foot soldiers, cannon fodder, and human shields in their protests. Standard tactic for those gutless, cowardly vermin who fear nothing more than getting arrested and having to face the consequences of their actions.

Probably why such tactics are so frequently seen in places where muslims are thick on the ground - in particular in "palestine".
