Cheesecake, Pie or Cake?

A post made me think about this ridiculously unimportant poll.  :-)

Cheesecake traditionally has a crust, as does pie.  I cannot think of a cake with a crust (if it is properly baked).  I have to go with cheesecake being in the pie family.

To add to the folly, Boston Creme Pie is a cake.  A driveway is to park upon and a parkway is to drive upon and your funny bone ain't funny.

I'll have the cheese cake with strawberries please.  Could you refill my wine glass on your way back also?

Mobile Kitchen Trailer. They used to set Boston Creme Pies out in the mess tents in the field. I got sick of'em real quick.

That makes sense.  It reminds me of the ones they had in the school cafeteria back when I was in Dallas schools (back when Dinah Shores roamed the earth).  They were delicious.

I make a really awesome carrot cake.  Yum!
I love this key lime cheesecake that this little bakery does.
I really love banana cream pie.  or Key lime pie.

It's a cake.  The base is not fruit.  It is primarily eggs and sugar.  It's a damn good cake.  But it's a cake.

I was talking a different kind of cheesecake :innocent:

As for the cheesecake making...I don't doubt this. Lot's of great male chefs out there to doubt that men can cook.

Poppycock!  What the heck does fruit have to do with it.  Chess pie is primarily eggs and sugar, it isn't fruit, and it sure as shot's not cake.
