DEAR ANONYMOUS: A simple threat from you could save US Democracy and our elections:

Now that it's been proven that electronic voting machines can be hacked, a simple threat/promise to hack them in 2012 would cause people of both parties to demand unhackable (paper ballots, handcounted) elections in the US.

No brainer, right?

Please, Anonymous, help us turn this around.

A promise/treat from you is what we need.

Seems simple since 100 % of the DUmp believes all elections they lose have been stolen.

1. I wouldn't put to much faith in Anonymous,
They seem to be much talk and little action.

2. Election are hackable alright - but mostly from the INSIDE....
   and Anonymous is OUTSIDE.

6. Unfortunately, that's always been true.
The undeniable problem and a problem that isn't fixed by any voting system is that there are people on the inside interested in manipulating elections.

Vote casting and counting systems are invented to deny that problem it's subversive force, but there will always be someone out there working on a work-around to the work-around that was supposed to make elections honest representations of the voters' intent.

Got it,still a grand conspiracy that no one can overcome.

8. I don't know about that. I saw another headline here
that intimated that those Diebold machines could be hacked by remote control. That's outside.

You are not following the script, could hurt you in voting here.

9. Obama miraculously carrying all 50 states might get the job done.
But getting busted for hacking elections means serious prison time, unless, of course, it is done by republicans who do it in service of the 1%.

Back to the conspiracy.

15. The truth is.....
We hold the solution to our own problems. There is no white knight, no hero. The sooner we dispense with that fairy tale, the sooner we can get about the business of solving our problems.

In other words you all know deep down that the election theft dogma is a childish fantasy but you demented fools can never escape it because the reality of rejection of your policies is unthinkable.

Geez....I'd have absolutely no problem with that.....so long as EVERY voter using those paper ballots had to present a valid photo ID before dropping his/her/its ballot in the box......and were only allowed to cast a single ballot.

Of course it would take weeks to reach an election result.

Compromise......it's the American way.......

The other thing is, within a state, all precincts should be required to report at exactly the same instant, the same split-second.  This would involve precincts having to delay reporting results because other precincts aren't done yet, but that's okay.

How well I remember the U.S. Senatorial election of 2006 down there in Missouri; how St. Louis managed to manufacture votes for the Democrat candidate (and eventual winner) after all the other precincts had reported.

And there's always the classic case of Chicago waiting until downstate Illinois releases its results.

The results should be sealed until everybody's ready to report, and then released at exactly the same moment.

As an aside:

That condition (sort of) got fixed.....since 2006, every election in St. Louis has been supervided by FBI agents until the results are reported, as well as the polls in every precinct there.

Outside of STL, there really aren't that many Democrat-controlled areas left in Missouri, and STL is about to lose their only Dem congressman due to redistricting.

What goes around comes around.

  • Creepy ass cracker.
Just yesterday they were all for insurance fraud, today they are begging for election fraud. Guess they know they can't win.
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

  • Make America Great Again. Deport some DUmmies.
The LAST thing these dimwits want is a %100 verified/verifiable voting process. - What they want is a process where only they can cheat.

Look at 'Winsconsin' and the Prosser/Kloppenberg race.

Even though ballots ended up hand counted and audited publicly, Prosser still 'Won by cheating' according to them.

Way back when we had paper ballots and the only republican on the ballot was for president, the local democrats cheated so as to get the right democrat in office.

Yeah. Getting Anonymous to threaten US elections is such a sure way for the FBI to arrest more stupid hackers and watch DU for more sedition and treason.
Yep.
Great way to attract unwanted attention.

That's similar to how the U.K. does it. It's actually a criminal offence to reveal numbers before the formal declaration (though politicians do drop very strong hints to the media). Each constituency counts in a single physical space, after any recounts which are needed because of close-run cases are done and the candidates accept the totals the Returning Officer stands up and reads the numbers out and declares that Joe Bloggs is duly elected.

Thread got locked because it "wasn't cool."  Indeed it's not.  Funny though, to see a bunch of democrats sitting around fantasizing about sabatoging elections.  Openly.

Gotta love the DUmpmonkeys (Who always howl whenever they lose an election that it MUST have been due to election fraud) openly encouraging terrorism and election fraud. It's a standard liberal concept that something's only bad if the other side does it.

And yet, the left were the ones originally screaming for electronic voting machines. When they found out it was too hard to cheat with them they decided paper ballots weren't so bad after all.

  • Democracy can survive anything except Democrats
The irony here is that it was their weeping and gnashing of teeth in 2000 that ushered in the era electronic balleting.
