OK - you're in a car, having fun, and you end up in the water. This can happen easier than you think. He survives, she does not. Is that his fault?
She should have taken swimming lessons according to tavie.

I'd personally like to congratulate the Senator on his first full year sober.  (It took the first year for the remaining alcohol to leach out...)

He was a fat, disgusting, amoral pig of a man, possessed of great wealth and afforded totally-undeserved good will, both the legacy of the deaths of his three much smarter brothers.  He did have a certain sense of noblesse oblige toward the peons, but only so long as he could address it with public monies, not his own.

If I recall correctly Fat Ted also was involved in a little thing between him and Chris Dodd and a waitress? Then there is that little thing about his body guards running loose in DC with illeagle MP5 submachineguns that would have netted anyone of us a 20+ year stretch in a Federal prison. I'm sure that Taverner is ok with the fact Fat Ted went over to Russia to see how he could backstab a sitting President over our National Security.

Ted Kennedy was a murderer, plain and simple.  Compared to that, I suppose you could characterize lying, scamming, drunken public debauchery, cheating on his wife and so on as "minor flaws".  :bird: :fuelfire:

He was a disgusting pig of a man who never bothered to admit he left Mary Jo in that car to die.  I wonder how many of his professed fans would have been okay had he done that to THEIR daughter.

The same people who think of Teddy as a saint, were the same people who blasted Bush for a DUI that resulted in a traffic ticket, and no injuries or deaths, from 20 years before the election.
