Erasmus, you are beginning to sound like I feel. I have never suffered fools easily, and these "people" are promoting stupid to a high art form.
I'm almost to the point I'd sooner punch some liberal DUmbass in the mouth than let another lie come out of it!
I do feel that way. I've had it. I'm tired of being labeled radical for believing that a government should live within its means, be honest and straightforward in its dealings, be limited to only those goods and services that government is economically best at providing (which are very few). I'm tired of being called a racist because I disagree with the president's ideology and politics. I'm tired of having my intelligence insulted by being given the false dilemma that we either have to 1) raise taxes or 2) lay off police and fire personnel.
I don't put myself into public political events. I just don't go. I support the Tea Party, but I'm not the protesting or marching type. I vote every time. And it's a good thing, because I seriously would punch one of these idiots in the mouth if they said these things to me to my face. It's simply past the point of talking. When people stoop this low in debate, the abuse of logic and hate that I see tells me that they're
not interested in even having a civilized discussion, and it seems that is where we are as a country.
And it's not just the DUers online. A message board won't get me riled up that way. It's the democrat governor who seriously suggests we should suspend congressional elections. It's the elected officials that call me and you racist. It's the media that instead of showing one ounce of intelligence, simply parrot the false dilemma without any critical thought whatsoever.
Enough is enough. If we can't just go our separate ways and let liberals run their areas into the ground, we're all going down, and it won't be pretty.
