Has anyone here ever attempted reincarnation?

I used to think, since I had a lousy childhood, man, in my next life I'm gonna get it right. I'm going to be born
into a nice, loving, well-to-do family...

Thing is, odds are you're far more likely to be born into some desperately poor third world family. Matter of numbers.

(Disclaimer: Just saying, I believe this life is all we have.)

Lay off of the drugs.

7. I did in my previous life.

Considering what shitty parents I had in this one, I won't try it again.

It will most likely turn silly, but had to post it. Just when you think you've ran across them all, another one pops up.

Odds are, DUmmy, that you're going to be a gerbil next time around. Karma's a b!ich.   :hyper:

I hope reincarnation doesn't exist.  Could you imagine putting up with DUmmies over multiple lifetimes?

With one of those GBLT's (whatever they are) as an owner.
It'll be the "end" for you.  :whistling:

Just an after thought.
In order to try it, wouldn't you have to "off" yourself, first?
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

I'm hoping that you're a rabbit next time, and when you pop your head out of your hole and find yourself in front of Ptarmigan's house, guess what happens next...

Well they could try it now and see if they come back.

The bad Karma accumulated for being involved with DU will definitely be a major set back to any hopes of a better life. I suspect cockroach status for most.

Statistically speaking, you'll spend eons being reincarnated as one insect after another.

Or microorganism.  Maybe the kind that lives in an intestinal tract.  That would be pleasant for them.

Going by their belief, let them crawl out of the sea and evolve. Maybe they'll get it right this time.

Don't we all reincarnate with our DNA ?????

Past life regression is interesting, why do some of us have some talent that has to be " inherited" from a past family member.  Genes make body replication but do not explain

Why do some children insist they remember things that they were never exposed to and know things beyond their years????

Very interesting subject, the hair raising feel that one has been here before or seen this place in a dream, the fact that one can bond instantly with a stranger, love at first sight.

Is there a Gene for past memory's or a Gene that makes our personality's?????

Damn good question, curious if cloning will instill the say training of the parent so the cloned remembers how to do certain tasks that the parent had to be trained to do.?????

So much to learn, so little time.

Reincarnation...hogwash...BUT if I had to come back as something, I want to be TOTUS. Oh the havoc I would  cause... :lmao:
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

I tried to reincarnate but the instructions said I have to die. Darn it.
Now I have to wait for old age to take me before I can be an eagle and kill little bunnies and ptarmigans and other cure and fluffy things...like puppies.

DUmmies will be in trouble when they reincarnate...for all the drugs and hate and sins they will have to spend several lifetimes as nuns just to make up for it all.

Or cats...after all, according the the DUmmies, it's an honor for a person to have his or her cat eaten by a hawk.

Eagle.. Pffft. Two words. Honey. Badger. [/pitt]

Immune to venom and poisons, eats pretty much everything that fits into its mouth, and has no regard for life at all. Badass.

Speaking of, here is Randall's famous Honey Badger video --

And Here is Randall's less famous but equally amusing take on Washington spending.
