Assistance generally should be reserved for emergency situations and devastating injuries that your average family could NOT plan for like severe disabilities.
You don’t like the poor (screw them they don’t vote)....If by poor you mean obese women and their obese bastard children who have such little shame at how they go about living as to stand up in a public place on a microphone and insult people's intelligence by saying they are 'going hungry' because they don't get enough public assistance while their hip measurement is somewhere around 60 inches, then yeah, I hate the poor.

You hate unions Actually, I don't, not with the intent they originally had. They are becoming obsolete though and are totally useless in white collar jobs(imo) and only have their foot there because their largest base(manufacturing) has lost ground--ie they dont want to die so they are looking for new 'customers', it has nothing to do about safety in the workplace, but all about survival of the union.

You hate Medicaid--actually no, but I dislike the leeches that make it insolvent and I don't understand why its recipients pay ZERO copays on just about everything...how is that fiscally responsible? As someone whose son is disabled(for real, not DU disabled) it's a lifesaver, but it's help in a situation with someone with a grave disability is on thin ice because of the many leeches who use it unfortunately. Medicaid should only be for those with serious disabilities and short term for those who have fell on hard tiems and need a medical 'bridge'. It should not be for perfectly capable people or just beause someone doesn't want to buy insurance to live on.
