The fact that this is even a statistic is silly. We can do nothing about human/cow/animal farts.

I know many women who wish men would stop thinking farts are funny...but that will never happen.
So I suggest a national campaign for serious global warming nuts. They can throw all they have at this.
The "It's NOT Funny" campaign. A bunch of grandma's looking into cameras saying, "Farts aren't funny! They are deadly serious! Stop laughing! Stop laughing! Hold it in. Use charcoal filtered underwear. STOP LAUGHING!"
