I would increase NASA spending by orders of magnitude. Aside from defense, it's the best bang for the buck American taxpayers have ever received. The engineering spinoffs are invaluable, but equally valuable is the thundering affirmation of American expertise and capabilities, and the effect space accomplishments have on the American spirit. That spirit translates directly into confidence in the future. It's the epitome of Reaganism.
One Mars rover is worth thousands of the muslim's shovel-ready union boondoggles.
Oh I agree with you 1000 percent GB. NASA used to be the premier space agency in the world. They made the shuttles that have lasted far past their expected life. As long as they stay focused on space... fund them. I was just making fun of the dummies jibbering-jabbering about spending money on AC for our brave military folks doing a damned hard job. They all jibber-jabbered about their perceived lack of funding for NASA. Fine! Let's take some money out of their government check and see how fast they say NASA don't need to be funded. It's called priority. When the priority ceases to be taking care of the the deadbeats of the Dump, I want to see what they have to say.
Come on Dummies.... come over here and tell me you are gonna give up some of your welfare check to fund NASA. It's important!! You said so yourself and I agree!!! So come on and tell me how much we can cut welfare to you deadbeats to fund NASA.
I ain't holding my breath.
I believe there is nothing this country can't do when we set our minds to it. Hell we made it to the moon in the 60's so why can't we make it to Mars now? I'll tell you why... too many deadbeats not pulling their weight.
