PHOENIX — The first photos of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords since she was shot in the head in a mass shooting in Tucson about five months ago were released early Sunday.

I'm going to echo both of your sentiments.  She does look great, and I also hope for a 100% recovery.

Well guys.... I just got banned for an extended period of time at the other conservative board, for saying this....   but damn it if it doesn't need to be said:

I don't think she will go back to congress either...

But if she does, c'mon fellow republicans, she's a D (and I don't mean bra size!)

The bolded portion of your comments could be interpreted as a threat of personal harm if taken literally.  I can certainly see why such action was taken on another forum.  Particularly in light of the congresswoman's personal circumstances.  (R or D, we don't allow threats even in jest here)

Prayers for her continued recovery and hoping she will be able to continue to represent Arizona, as she seems to be a good person who was devoted to her job and her constituents. Those people are hard to find, regardless of their political party.
