Ever notice anytime there is the opportunity to attempt to convince people at CC to vote 3rd party, one of these comes out of the woodwork ?

Listen, renewal -- most of us won't vote 3rd party, because getting rid of Obama is more important than finding a candidate we may agree with 100% of the time -- Hell, even if we agree with a RINO 60% of the time, it is a far sight better than the current president, with whom most of us agree with +- 0% of the time.

That's actually a very good mini-rant. It's anarchy, pure and simple, but a nice rant.

No rant- just a small dose of truth for those blindly bent on self-destruction. Sadly you people may well take down all of America with you.

In 2008 I was hoping for third party..anything but McCain or Obama.   I loved Sarah, but it was McCain that nauseated me.  At this point, if a pig was running against him, the pig would get my vote.

Actually, would love to have seen Allen West get a shot at this.

Unsure...depends on the RINO.  I could gladly vote for McCain because of his past service to our country and his outstanding VP choice.  SOME people running for the GOP nomination, if they get it, well, I'll sit out the election.
Doubt AZ is going blue, with or without my particular vote, but there are some folks I cannot stomach who claim to be Republicans.

What 'service' has McCain ever rendered to America other than managing to get captured (and behaving disgracefully as a prisoner) due to rather inept execution of his duties while in the military and proving cover for bank fraud while a politician

Lets just say so far I see no reason to believe that many here oppose TSA for what it does- shredding the Constitution as it harasses the American People. Any opposition I expect is based entirely on a partisan opposition to the TSA's Boss BHO being in charge of anything.

Under BHO TSA is a useless and dangerous fraud (which needs to be 100% shutdown with full criminal punishment for those who committed what would ordinarily be considered crimes while hiding under the cover of 'duty'), just as it was under Bush2.

FAIL. Just read through our posts, idiot. You will see that it is pretty much unanimous that we support the constitution first and party politics second.

RINO!

I sound like a broken record BUT

It's the Supreme Court people!
Kennedy has said he'll retire after the next election, you want another Sotomayor or Kagan on the Court to replace him?

And it's been pointed out above that it's no guarantee that a Repub president would appoint a conservative justice. Look what happened to Kennedy - appointed by Reagan in 1988, he's been largely a swing voter and cannot be assumed to vote a conservative POV on the cases he's reviewed.

I'll absolutely grant you that there's no question that Barry would appoint another socialist to SCOTUS in the same vein as Sotomayor and Kagan so I'm more than willing to throw Barry's ass out of office to keep that from happening -- but putting a Repub in there doesn't guarantee another Kennedy from happening.

I say we stop calling them RINO and use the term CINO instead.

Conservative In Name Only.

More accurate term IMO.

Yes, Kennedy is a swing vote but at least he seems to side with the right most of the time. Souter was another pain in the butt pick made by a Republican, but I highly doubt that a Republican President will appoint anyone even close to Sotomayor and Kagan.

The senate made their full intentions known they would block any conservative that Reagan nominated (Bork).   For a truly conservative SCOTUS nomination we will need to secure both the WH and the Senate in 2012.

Not necessarily. There are 4 moderate Democrats (Nelson, McCaskill, Manchin & Tester) that could be persuaded to confirm a conservative in my opinion provided they win reelection.

We agree on that point.

Moonbatism seems to infect Dem presidents and who they pick moreso than Repub presidents -- which is why Barry must go above all else. That means no 3rd party for this voter. If I have to pick a RINO because that's who the Repubs nominate, that's what I'll do.
