Are there many people who truly believe that the Rapture is going to be tomorrow?  I know this guy has been getting a lot of press lately, but the fact that he has been wrong in the past makes him suspect in my eyes.  Also, I'm just plain uncomfortable with people attempting to determine God's plan, with specific dates, for the future based on their interpretation of the Bible.

Matt 24 says we can know the season but not the day or the hour. Jesus will come as a thief in the night-when we least expect him.

This Harold Camping guy is a false prophet. Nothing will happen on Saturday.

The whole chapter of Matt 24 is about the last days. I will highlight the pertinent verses.
vs 40 and 41 are the first reference to the rapture
Matthew 24 32-44

Parable of the Fig Tree
32 "Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near;

 33 so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door.

Relatively speaking, no. Just this guy and his cult following, which may be fairly substantial as cults go, but a cult nonetheless. This is just DU seizing on another opportunity to vent their collective spleen and paint all Christians as unreasonable nuts. You know it's one of their favorite pastimes.
