And since I don't know, and since we live in a land where a man is presumed innocent until proven guilty, I am always troubled by the mob mentality that rushes to judgement as soon as a story breaks in the news.

The presumption of innocence is a legal protection, it does not in any way prohibit people from forming their own opinions, right or wrong, nor does it require them to invent and add circumstances to whatever information has been reported in order to come up with some way an accused person might be proven innocent.

NB: The backward adjustment of the time-frame by police, to a time when guests often check-out, 12 p.m.,

Either he met his daughter for lunch or he did not. If he did, the story we are being asked to believe is:

1. At about 12 p.m., a short fat, 62 year old man was naked in the bathroom, note expecting anyone.

2. A West African hotel maid with HIV entered the room, not knowing the naked man was there.

3. He heard her enter, rushed out of the bathroom, grappled with her & forced her to give him fellatio.

4. He also attempted to have sex with her.

5. She escaped and ran out of his hotel room.

6. He got dressed & went to dine with his daughter in one of New York's fine restaurants.

7. He came back from lunch with his daughter, checked out, paid his bill & forgot his cell phone.

The maid may not have known who he was. But she knew his suite costs thousands of dollars a night.

This bit about the woman living in an HIV comunity brought this to mind.  If she is herself ill, so what, shit happens--if a family member is ill and she has to care for them--so what.       This has nothing to do with claiming she was raped.    One would think working for a Hotel that charges $3000 a night, the tips must be huge, a plum job in house keeping.

No housekeeper is going to place charges on a customer unless something really bad did happen. She will never as they say work again in this town.

Shit happens in hotel rooms.

Last glorious one I was in was at Fox Wood.  We got this offer in the mail for a cheap night at $80.00.

We took them up on the offer and were amazed at the room fabulious, with a few quirks, next to the TV there was a display of items to buy on a tray that was motion activicated, so if anyone walked past the tray and just brushed the tray without removing any item they were charged for it.

Huby went down to book the room for another night and was told he had to pay full price for the next night--$300.00------  We had both won that much on the slots in 3 hours and decided to stay that one more night.

Hubby went out later that day and won $200 playing black jack so we ordered dinner in our room so as to watch a movie.  Cost, $125.00 with tip. 

Day 2 we got up early and headed out to see the sights and museums and returning back to our room found it exactally as we left it. 

I called house keeping and an hour later 2 young woman who spoke little english knocked on the door and apoligised as they had thought we had left the day before. No idea we had booked for another day.

Nothing about this made sense, if they thought we had left why not clean the room that day, did the maids only clean rooms 2 days after a guest had left.?????

I was exausted from the day of sight seeing and told them to just take the used towels and refresh the stuff in the bathroom. Next day was check out and we were charged over $50.00 for the things we had not bought but had brushed up against on the motion activated tray in the room.----------Hubby said he was going back to the room to take the stuff we had been charged for but was told that the room was now locked------sorry about that.

Screw ups happen in all busineses, this Maid may have very well been told the occupent had checked out, like the 2 maids that thought we had left our room.   

 The Maids that came to our door were genually puzzled on why we were still there.-----Had I been down stairs in the casino and hubby naked as a jay bird when they they came in, well both were attrative but hubby would had jumped behind the curtains only to wonder for the rest of his life in fantansy what could have come of that incounter.

 Hubby has common sense  and the last thing he needs is to let his dick overide his brain,   ---------so far.    For us poor folk this has nothing to do with morals or Male hunger, this has to do with FEAR of getting caught.

The powerful do not have that fear, regardless what they do, how much money it costs them, they have friends that have been in the same situation and will help them get back on their feet.
