I have never thought a guy's choice of a car was a reason to or not to date them. I did have a step sister who based her dating on the kind of car the guy drove. Took her two marriages to figure out that was not a good criteria.

According to my son, I am basically illiterate when it comes to cars. If Wasp's truck hadn't had the Chevy thing on the front grill, I wouldn't have known what it was except an extended cab truck.
I do like SUV's and have driven one for the last 13 years. And yes, Euph, I do because I can see over the steering wheel and front of the car, without looking like I'm sitting in a booster seat.

Since I can't parallel park worth a flip, it isn't an issue with the size of the car. And I do like to be able to see ahead of me on the road, and I don't like being able to see the underside of a semi that's driving next to me.
Besides being able to see over the front end, my first question to a car salesman, is always: what's going to happen if I'm hit head-on? Then I look for a car that I like the color, it has a moon-roof, it doesn't have a gray or black interior, and whether on not my tush sits comfortably in the driver's seat - that will heat up. Other than that...I don't really care.
