Oh my.

This campfire's five years old, but recently re-lit.

It must have something to do with the.....0bamaconomy.

If you have your resume posted on Monster, Career Builder or any other site or job bank, here is another tip I learned yesterday from another work shop I attended:

When employers search posted resumes for key words, they tend to look at the first 30, 50, 100 or however many they want to look at. Did you know that after your resume is posted, it keeps "sinking" farther and farther down? I did not know this. And according to this instructor neither do about 98% of people who have a resume posted on one of these sites. The solution? Every week, go to where your resume is posted and do an update on it. The update can be a real update, or it can simply be changing something and then changing it back. The point is, there will be some activity on your resume. What this does is bump your resume back up to the top of the pile so it has a better chance of being viewed by prospective employers. Even if you have an excellent resume, employers will only look at so many and if yours is way down it may not get looked at. So remember to update weekly to keep it bumped up to the top of the list.

5. I knew that, but the only companies that contact me are wanting me to sell insurance.

That's it. So it didn't do me any good, though your mileage may vary.

Yeah, it probably has something to do with the booming 0bamaconomy.

Being DUmbasses, I figured this would be about how to hide years (decades?) of holes in one's CV.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Job-seeking advice from a DUmmie is about as valuable as instruction in motor vehicle operation from a Kennedy.

Or alcohol and drug addiction.

It's very rare for a DUmmy to be considered for a job that would require a resume.
DUmmies need more practical advice.
Like how to conceal a sample of a friend's urine on your person.

No, they're pretty good at that.  Now if you mean curing it, well then you certainly have a point.
