15,000--that's a whole shitload of wasted time at work, of nights staring at the laptop screen while NCIS or some sporting event plays in the background, or Sunday mornings doing coffee, scratching my nuts, thinking of ya'll.

Now I COULD say something like, "WORSHIP ME, PUNY MORTALS!!!  BASK IN THE GLOW OF MY GREATNESS!!!"  But seriously, why waste the bandwidth to tell you that which you already know and accept?  I mean, if you're gonna post whore, do it in a style befitting such a large number of mashing of the "Post" button?  Smilies?  Piss on 'em.  Fight Club threads?  Fine for a while, but I get tired of the Monty Pythonesque, "Yes I did--No you didn't" crap.  Chewtoys?  Fun for a while, but even they lack originality.

So as I sit here, with this honor you've bestowed upon me--and believe me, you'll bestow many more upon me in the days to come, whether you want to or not, I have to acknowledge why I've achieved such a lofty status among this little clan.

It's you.  All of you.  You are the ones who with either your wit, your intelligence, or your insanity, make me come back for more.  Whether I acknowledge you by name or deed, know that you are the ones who keep me around this place.  And NO, you're not getting rid of me, bitches.  I'm dug in deep.  I ain't goin nowhere.

On to the next 15,000.

And, by golly, I've never been in a group that made someone "scratch their nuts" when thought of.  Um, thank you?

Um, you're welcome.

And no, I don't think of specific posters and scratch my nuts, per se.  Fondle perhaps, but never scratch.  No, the scratching of the sack is a male ritual best practiced using a loose robe on a Sunday morning while flipping through the news channels and downing the first 1-5 cups of coffee before suitably fortified to make the Sunday breakfast of eggs, bacon or sausage gravy, biscuits, hash browns, etc.

After taking a nice, hot shower, of course.  Something tells me I may have to get a larger hot water heater with Scoobie now growing gills in the guest shower.

I'm confused.  Is Chuck Woolery going to be showing up here anytime?  Is there some sort of virtual love connection going on here between Mr. Sparky and Scoobie?

Inquiring minds want to know ~ or maybe I'm just the last to know.

15K. I was barely above 10K over at CU before the Ronulans showed up and that took me around two years or more to get there. I need to find more time to post.

In doing various research for various things, usually something I have to buy, I'll stumble across an internet forum related to that item I need to buy (like euphs, for example) and see somebody there with over 30,000 posts.

I think that one could add up all of the posts on ALL of the forums I belong to and all of my posts, totalled, wouldn't add up to 30K.

Wow, how does one get banned from a baseball board?

Congrats Sparky.  If I were to add up CU, here, NU and my moles at DU, I might have 37k.  Maybe not, but I'm not saying.  :-)

I got banned several times for arguing with Cardinal fans and posting forbidden words.  It didn't help that I was posting while drinking sometimes. :whistling:

Well, it also helps that we don't get the ban hammer for saying naughty words here too, as long as we don't get TOO out of hand.

That's because we don't want to become TOO PC and have the word filter for those that don't like "Sailor talk".    :-)
