Part of the problem is that ALL of the bad germs aren't being killed but are being made stronger by the anti-bacterial soaps. What doesn't kill them , makes them stronger.
What a issue this is---How in the heck is this child going to have any kind of life with that allergy ??? Some people actually out grow a childhood allergy, when Adults will for no know reason develope one to something they have been around for 60 years.
First thought is this child is indeed very special, and in need of protection. How to explain to a child that age that she is different from every one else.?? Everyone is different from others in some way and we learn to live with the difference.
I would imagine that there are millions of kids with special needs that have to learn to live with their disability, how to thrive under very unusual circumstances. The mother of the child points out that for her child to sit next to anyone that had eaten peanuts and breath in their breath could kill her.
So be it, the parents must accept that their child is not NORMAL in a health problem from everyone in the world. This is not the fault of the child or the parents, When we have children we accept them as they are and not expect the neighbor not to mow his lawn or raise cats because the child has a violent reaction to them as an allergy.
Is it impossible to find a face mask for the child to wear and plastic gloves if the allergy is so bad she could fall over dead just from touching peanut oil???
To go off into examples, say a child has an allergy this dangerous to human hair. All members of the family or anyone in contact with the child must shave their entire body's of all hair, including eye brows eye lashes etc. All people entering the home must remove clothing in an outer room as a stray hair from a coworker may have landed on their clothing.
6 years later the child is ready to go to school, the parents demand that the school system, from the school bus driver, all students, teachers anyone who works for the school including the janitor do the same for their child's protection.
Yes, I know ultra extreme example ---but, who is responcible for the health of this child.??? Is it not the parents responcibility to care for their child and not expect complete strangers to live any kind of hardship or change in their lives to base their own choices around the benifit of their child.????
I can see a law suit on the way for the school, town and even State if this child does die because a little kid sitting next to them are sneaking peanut M&M's
