Well, I may, or may not take to uploading the pics I took. Combined with this being my first event, and the sunlight blaring in my face/in the camera, most of them turned out shitty...
However, I will say it was for the most part, a nonviolent protest. Way more violent rhetoric from the left than the right as we all know, and the Scott walker supporters were few, and far between. There were still several of them, though. Police were trying to prevent Walker supporters from entering the area to the stage was the word that got around. Hell, I didn't even find the damn thing. There were absolutely TONS of cops, and the usual chants from both sides. However, I'd say the protest crowd outnumbered the counter-protest crowd 4:1, and maybe more. This was their day. Congratulations. Bask in it today, DUmb ****s. For in a week, 2 weeks, a month...you will be sporting "frowny faces."
And and one more thing. The only violence I saw was a guy who came up to me, told me to "get the **** off his corner" and spit on my leg. You'll be glad to know I kept my cool, and just heckled him back, but MAN, I wanted to break his jaw!
That's my report for now. I'm tired, and my voice is about shot, so I'll explore what everyone watching from afar has said.
