War has been declared.

The right-wing Congress and their tea-bagging followers have declared war on the rest of America.

Let us call it what it is. It is a planned attack on everything we have worked for, for most of the last century.

If there was ever a time for strong Democrats in the Senate and in the White House, it is now.

It is time for these jokers to pay their fair share. They robbed us blind with their credit swaps and magic deals and are looking for someone else to pay for their mistakes and blunders. That someone is those that can least afford it. There is no limit to what taxes can be cut, most of these folks believe.

However, taxcuts have not created jobs. They have lost jobs. They have permitted these huge corporations to take these windfalls and build plants overseas and to move American jobs to where they can operate as they please, without regard to laws or the environment we all have to live with.

They smell blood in the water and they are going for the kill. They are sharks.

Do not be naive. It is a war and the sooner we recruit our "soldiers", the better off we will be. Our "soldiers" must be ready to march. They must understand what is at stake. It is about each of us and our families.

NPR opinion pieces are usually far enough left to fall off the face of the earth, but even on NPR they've had any number of interviews with people that made the points over and over that employers will avoid hiring in the face of high taxes, uncertain taxes, high healthcare costs, and uncertain healthcare costs.  Employers will keep their current employees and not expand, especially in the US, because they have to look 5 and 10 years down the road...and right now, they can't!!  Obamacare and the bungling of tax laws has so confused any possible long-range planning that employers literally can't plan expansions!  The whole country is in "hunker-down and wait out the insanity" mode.   Until we manage to vote in a conservative majority with an actual view toward stabilizing the country, joblessness will not decrease.

They would have a precious few who would be competent, but a libtard army would be on the run in short order.
Hmmm, in the last Democrat started civil war, they controlled the south, its now a conservative stronghold.
In a new civil war, we get to invade the coasts and take liberty in Disneyland! The only downside would be cleaning out the Lib spider holes in Vermont. At least Maine is a pretty place to invade.
