Angus is MY best friend also, damn near every weekend when we throw a steak on the grill.
I dunno if I'd name a dog Angus and take him to some overseas countries. :whistling:
BTW, he's a real handsome looking dude. :cheersmate:

I almost put Bunny in the list instead of Rabbit.  However, I was afraid SGT SnuggleBunny would think I was singling him out, and maybe sic the ACLU or the SPLC on my ass. :whistling:

I might have voted that way, except for the fact that my stupid dogs love to wake me up around 0300 every morning to go out and pee.  I do not have that trouble with the kitties.
That said, I love my dogs, and I miss Dominic something ferocious. :bawl:

I am an unabashed bird guy, mostly parrots. We have two at home - a Congo African grey, and a Solomon Islands eclectus - both female.

There is no question that parrots are highly intelligent and social, curious about their environment and how to interact with it.

Mrs E calls me a "bird whisperer" because I understand them and what they're after - especially when they're being a PITA.

Mrs E cannot handle the eclectus safely - the bird is bonded to me and does not tolerate "other women" very well.  :rotf: But both birds readily go to me and look to me for that human interaction they're after. Mrs E? Not so much, though the grey tolerates her pretty well.

We also have two dogs, and they are special in their own way - but I'm an unabashed bird guy.

I am sooooo attached to my four girls....my illegitimate female felines.  :-)

I was also quite attached to my Westies - I have had 4, but no dogs for the last 20 years.  :(  M insists that dogs belong outside, and I insist they belong in the house....at least the kind I would have(Westies or Scotties). Since we cannot come to an agreement, there will be no dogs in the KK household.  :(

Got the kids hamsters when the ex took the dogs. Yeah...that was not a real good idea, but it was Christmas..and T wanted them...and since I was feeling guilty enough over getting a divorce....I got two for them from Santa.  :banghead: Stinky little suckers that do nothing but eat, sleep and poop a whole bunch. One escaped to the basement and behind the hot water heater....have no clue how it found it's way there. And the other one escaped too...but I think it must have gone outside, since we never found it.

I really detest birds (sorry Euph)...there will never be bird feeders in my yard. Getting one as a pet will never happen.

Have already paid for a half of a quarter horse. I'm sure it was the back end. I won't do that again either.  :censored:
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

I love my cats. Dogs................other peoples but not in this household. They are far too much work.

Time to get an Iron horse.

As to the poll, I opt for Dogs. Indifferent about the rest of the critters.

Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

I know.  My dream as a young girl was to own one.  Two weeks after I actually got one, I gave up.  Of course, I was married with a baby and another on the way, so all that horse shit made me sick, literally.  Hubby helped out some, but he did have a job and we had to stable the horse elsewhere.
