Eh.  I learned to spend a lot of time coasting along in neutral with the occasional bump on the clutch to keep moving.  My brother was bitching about his truck's heavy clutch in traffic yesterday... glad mine is pretty light.

Test drove this yesterday with a buddy looking for a new truck, awesome! Only complaint was they made it too truckish, I know that was the idea but with the 6.4 liter gas engine and custom exhaust all we could hear is wind noise on the highway, had to talk very loud just to hear each other. If he was 15 years younger and single he would have bought it. That thing was fast though, and handled like a sports car.

Mine was a 2005 Ford Focus. Very light clutch.  But still, getting stuck on the tollway in afternoon rush traffic with a stick SUUUUUUUUCKS.

No, the LoJack will stay with the vehicle.  The problem is that LoJack has roughly 30 places in your car to hide their device.  No record is ever made of exactly WHERE.  This is to protect your investment.  A company rep would literally have to tear your car apart to find the unit.  I won't go too far into what the device looks like (size, shape, etc.), but suffice it to say that it would be extremely difficult to find.
 
Summary:  The next owner of your car benefits from your LoJack investment.

Gina, I was wondering the same thing.  Kias are very rarely (if ever) stolen because they're too cheap to bother with.  It was either a damn good salesman and she got suckered or it was a damn good deal because they cost $600-$800 installed.

I could use an economical vehicle because of my frequent trips to Dallas for the various Doctors I need to see. $500 would be in my affordability range. Now, how to get the vehicle from where you are to Texas.

Not all states allow lane splitting or driving on the shoulder. I had a motorcycle for my commute when I was stationed in San Diego. Splitting lanes across the Coronado Bay Bridge was awesome, but one STILL had to be careful of the cagers. They liked to open their doors or crowd the centerline when they saw a motorcycle coming up in their mirrors.

The weird thing about BMWs is that they always maintain the leather smell.  When I was a teen, my dad was a GM at a BMW dealership and I was a lot monkey.  It didn't matter if the BMW was 10 years old or brand new, they all had that pungent leather odor BMWs are known for.  It's one of the reasons I wanted one now that I'm 40.  :)
