Chicago, IL has the highest gas prices in the lower 48 states @ $4.335/gallon.  The only other city with more expensive gasoline is Honolulu, HI.

National average: $3.869/gal.  NH average: $3.823/gal.

Yeah, how's that hopey-changey shit working out for ya, assholes?

I had a sprocket hit me up for gas money while washing my car a few days ago. Should have told him to contact Obama. I thought he was supposed to pay your rent and free gas money.

I filled up at a different station today, 59$. I didn't notice at the time but I thought I filled the car when I really didn't. The place to fill you car is on a slight incline.

Diesel was 1.37/l or 5.19/g.

It's getting to the point I'm going to have to charge significantly more to even get to someone's door for a repair call just to cover the ever increasing gas prices.

3.999 here yesterday at the local station I use.  It has never been that high before.

National average: $3.879/gal.  NH average: $3.823/gal.

National up a penny from yesterday.  Even the generic "cheapo" gas stations are over $3.80/gal here.  Most in the $3.85-3.90 range.  Over the border in ME it's topping $4.

Noticed it was $3.91 for regular in Las Vegas.  This price was spotted at Maryland & Tropicana - across the street from UNLV.

$3.949 at the Seabrook Sunoco, meaning by the time I get home tonight it'll be close to that price at the Cumby's on Route 125.

3.79 at my local gas station.  Been the same for a while now.  I gave 3.94 for mid-grade.  First time it has cost $40 to fill up.   :bawl:

Got just under 1/2 tank.  Wondering if I want to wait until tomorrow to fill up or do it today.

A half tank is my tipping point, especially when prices are just continuing to head north. I'd say get it now and you're ready for the weekend.

What is this "weekend" of which you speak?  I can get 4 days out of a tank.  I'm still working 6 days a week.  I guess filling up every third day won't kill me.  At least that way I won't have to swipe my card twice to fill up.

Indeed I am, but not nearly enough, and when it takes $20 to do a round trip between work and home, that's just crazy.

Oh, and nationally we cracked $3.90/gal today.  $4/gal nationally by next weekend, kids?

I'm considering this for one of my cars: http://www.e-volks.com/about3.html

How much would your power bill be to charge that every day, on top of the 5,000+ you have to spend for the kit? I don't think the output per unit of gasoline I get with the scooter can be matched. I can literally drive almost all week on a gallon and a half of gas.

I'm not sure, but I'm spending $50+ a week on gas as it is.  I was thinking I could leave it plugged in at work. :whistling:

Do you have to have a motorcyle license for one of those?

In Georgia, anything over 50cc's. Most of the smaller ones are 49cc. My hog is a 150cc.  :afro:

I'm trying to avoid the DMV.  If I ever have to take an eye exam again, I'm screwed.  I don't think they would give me my motorcycle license back, which is why I haven't replaced the last bike I had.
