^which kind of explains the deafening silence.
Obama is arrogant. He doesn't think the rules apply to him. In that regard he's taking a page out of the Clinton political playbook. He really believes that muddled half-answers will suffice.
I really don't care what he is or what religion he practices. He's being judged by his actions and policies in my book. As I said before, he's a non-starter and would neve get my time, attention or vote.
He's banking on the fawning to get him to the ballot. He's that "audacious". He doesn't seem to care that people want to know about his past. And all the more delicious if they ask about his religion. He can just jut out his chin and dare them to be bigots or racists or whatever. Or continue to let others speculate while never directly answering the questions and putting the matter to rest. He'll continue to be Clintonian in that regard.
precisely. it isn't necessarily about whether he is, or has ever been, a mulsim, per se. it's that we just can't seem to get a straight answer out of him about this, or anything else that transpired in his life before he staggered into the national spotlight with that speech at the convention. beyond that, he's asking us to be satisfied with his autobio/campaign pamphlet, and just take the rest on faith.
his speeches are a mixture of poetry and verbal slight of hand; they are devoid of any substance whatsoever. when we do
finally uncover someone that would seem to be personally significant to him (his pastor), he turns out to be a lunatic. his dog
apparently ate his records from his time in the illinois state legislature, and most everything else about this man is similarly
unexplained.
when do we fill in the blanks with this guy? after he is inaugurated? no thanks. I say that every question, every issue, and every doubt be run to ground. if he won't answer the questions, and the MSM won't do it, then he shouldn't be surprised if 527s or new media outlets DO run these important questions down.
