Think of the lyrics to "Once bitten, twice shy".
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

With all that annoying blather she still didn't say WHY she us homeless. Her kid was kidnapped therefor she is homeless?  Did she ever find her kid?

I strongly suspect that 'Kidnapped' to her meant 'Termination of her parental rights' to either the social services or the other parent.

Ralphie, I don't follow each person from DU except for what gets posted here. In general, what is the view of BoBo from her fellow DUers?   Do they think she is full of crap?  Do they ever call her out on any of her BS?

Newer posters there have been sympathetic and pushed to help which will cause her to go off into hysterics with accusations that all they want to do is judge her or other nonsense.

Older DUmmies seem to fall into two groups.
One group is a bunch of scycophants who understand she is for some reason untouchable and think it is good for them to suck up.
The other group detests her but also understands that issue so begrudgingly go along with occasional snipes at her.

Dollars to doughnuts says she plays taxi for her homeless "friends" and charges by the block! She probably lifts them to their favorite panhandlin' corners every day and keeps a percentage.

How else could she afford an IPhone?

I'd LOVE to know that. I have one. It's not exactly cheap. People who have little money either don't have cell phones, or have ones that are about 20-30 bucks per month. She has the equivalent of the BMW of cell phones and has the audacity to bitch about being homeless.

I have some buddies in Denver.  The husband is a self-proclaimed socialist-loving liberal (but I love him anyway)  Our visits have nothing to do with politics.  He knows where I stand, I know where he stands.  We can also have mature discussions regarding politics, and still end up friends.  At any rate, when I was up visiting them a few years ago, he told me that Denver is really trying to take care of their homeless.  Matter of fact, they have homeless people on the street corners selling papers.  I don't think it was the actual Denver Paper, more like a Magazine type one.  For a quarter.  They got to keep that quarter.   Maybe she is selling LOTS and LOTS of papers?

She has been suspected of being a mole, partly because of suspicious time stamps on her posts, i.e. not traditional library hours.  She once angrily posted "I do NOT have an iphone and **** you anybody who thinks so!!!"  Questions about the library hours were ignored, and probably scrubbed.

I dunno, but reading her story made me thank God I don't rely on government services for my very subsistence.  Recertifications, meetings with assholes, depending on jerks, turning in this paperwork for it to go there and then get it back and around and around.  It's too much.  Honest work is much easier.  More lucrative, too.

In Chicago, they have (or had) a newspaper/magazine/toilet paper called "Streetwise".  There was a time when you couldn't walk half a block in the Loop or River North without being "solicited" by the homeless vendors of whatever rag that was.  I don't know if it still exists or not.

Bobbolink = Best mole ever

I think she's a mole too, but on the leftist side. I envision some Acorn chick with a degree in creative writing creating this personna to "put a face on the homeless".  I've noticed the only action Bobo wants people to do is to write or call congressmen or sign online petitions. Also, her overreactions to offers of help is really bizarre and I guess designed to keep people away.

I don't think so, it's pulled off too perfectly stereotypical.  I don't think a leftist could do that.

That's exactly the point though.  Her performance is EXACTLY stereotypical, which is all your typical white-bread leftist behind a computer would know about the homeless and/or homelessness.

If she was ever a mole, she's gone too far into her Dark Side role to ever get out of it.

If her child really was kidnapped, then I truly am sorry for her. It would drive me over the edge, too. Wonder what happened to the baby daddy.

Probably took custody of the kid and resumed a life of sanity.

Oh, but she always wants people to take up some kind of collection (where? how?) to place an ad in the NY Times or buy billboard space to educate people about "the truth."

I am firmly in the camp who believes it was the father who took her child away.  CPS allowed the kid to stay with him.  When he was a toddler, she would drag him in a van to protest after protest.  What was going on in that van?
