I'm conservative, and belong to a union. I'm proud of one of these things, and forced to do the other, (if I want to keep my job).

Ditto again.  Fortunately, this local stays out of politics and tries to work with management rather than being a PITA like the union was (IBEW) when I worked for SCE.

OSHA was passed by Nixon. Then again, so was the EPA and a lot of other shit the bats claim.
NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

How any union asshat could take credit for the GI bill is beyond me. Other countries might have unionised their military but we sure as **** have not.

But, but, I remember the NEA Teacher tellin' us about the Union army in the Civil War beating up the Condfedlican Army and cleaning the sky and streams up while they were at it, so yeah, the Unions started the GI Bill....
