Every person who owns a small business, has a farm, is on a compressed work week schedule, or is a parent knows an 8 hour day is a myth

As long as its in the private sector and is the choice of the company, who cares? However, my husband works in the high tech industry and has forever. That industry has never been unionized and has every single one of those "liberal" perks.

Yeah, cuz before liberals and unions people were walking under ladders, playing frisbee with saw blades, and putting non-caloric silicon-based kitchen lubricants on their sleds.

I'm sure market forces would never have influenced such safeguards. I mean, people would just continue to buy from Big Auto Company A (where cars are built buy extra special union members) even though brakes continued to fail and accelerators stuck instead of Big Auto Company B whose cars haven't had said safety issues. Thank heaven we have another bloated government bureaucracy to keep us safe.

Just stay the hell away from my well...my water is clean and pure doesn't need government regulators to make sure it stays that way.

Yeah...that's turned out to be a real good investment for the country...scads and wads of money poured into the schools with the largest amounts going to the poorest districts...kids don't learn to read, do basic math, or even graduate but they all learn that white Republicans want to kill polar bears, Heather's mommy left Heather's daddy to be with Nancy and she now lives in a very special family, and everyone now gets "Obama money" from his stash.

Better have another cup because this one isn't working...are you using "fair trade" coffee beans because the regular kind kills brain cells. I know this because the guy behind the counter at my local health food store/head shop told me so.

I want to outlaw unions...especially the SEIU because the government should never be able to hold their citizens hostage so some file clerk in the state department can get a better salary and benefits package than the soldier and Marine in the Helmand Province who has bullets flying at them.
