I'm gone or So long, farewell Auf Weidersehen, goodbye

Advertisements [?]

This post will get me booted off the DU very fast. I've been pissed about several of my posts getting moved I didn't agree will in the last month or so. And nobody asked my why I was so pissed the last few weeks. I wasn't pitching sales of dvds today. This was a post about something somebody MY AGE only would appreciate.

This post had at least 4 R's before it got moved: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.ph...

Yep the door just hit me in the ass!

I love the DU. I've donated every quarter. But while the DU has tried to solve its many current problems, it has lost something dear to me. The warm fuzzies are gone.

My Intelevison post about video games from the 80's got moved. This one. The list goes on.

Yes I've broken rules and gotten by on occasion. I have no regrets!

It was a great. It ain't anymore.

Omaha Steve

Apparently it was a Kukla, Fran and Ollie post that sent him over the edge.

"I broke under the pressure, warden"

26,700 posts on the up and up before yesterday and never lost it. I have no excuse for my off base post yesterday. I apologize to the DU admins, moderators, regulars, and all that read this. Like a lot of DUers, I've got a lot going on right now. Most of it has to do with my surgery from my at work accident. When I return to work after my surgery, I'll fill in those blanks. IF the DU community is willing to give me another (on probation) try, I'm asking for another chance. It is up the the DU community as a whole.

Omaha Steve

Steve cries a lot.  He often cries at the local Starbucks when he is forced to interact with a non-union coffee fetcher.  He has also posted actual photographic evidence of himself and Cindy Sheehan having a good cry together.  I hope that he can overcome the Kukla, Fran and Ollie debacle and somehow make a full recovery.

Ah yes, my good friend and fellow Cornhusker Omaha Steve.

for those not thoroughly acquainted with Omaha Steve, who's 1/16th or 1/32nd or 1/64th some oppressed minority of the past, my fellow Nebraskan is a desperate "metrosexual" wannabe; you know, the kind, caring, sensitive, nurturing male.

But he lives in Omaha, which has famously been described as "the most masculine city in America."

Not "masculine" in the sense the women's-libbers have it, boorish, domineering, uses women, blah-blah-blah, but in the sense of strength, virility, robustness, and energy.

But he so badly wants to be a girly-man in that environment, which doesn't work out well for him, with either gender.

Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

Omaha Steve hasn't missed any meals.....

You know, as a kid, I sat and listened to old men talk about the "Depression". Everyone of them talked about how hard things were but to a man, they all said, "...but we had plenty to eat." and for this they were thankful. Fat DUmmies aren't thankful for anything. Fat DUmmies are the truly greedy in this country, always demanding more free stuff with their mouths full.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

Yes, sir, lack of gratitude is one of the tenets of the primitives' tribal religion.

It's blasphemy for a primitive to be grateful for something.

I went over to look at the photographs, although I already know what my fellow Nebraskan looks like.

You know, it occurred to me this isn't a guy who uses a whole lot of cologne, but he probably should.

Why do all the DUmpmonkies look like extras on the set of "The Hills have Eyes"?

DUmmy Omaha Steve is back, but they still aren't allowing him to peddle his knick-knacks in the GD forum.
Seems kind of strange for a union fanatic to be hawking bootleg DVDs anyway.

That's a mighty big grain of sand the DUchebag has in his vagina.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

OH MY GOD !!!!!

Is that really him ?!?

If the 30 year weep and sob fest ain't bad enough, Stevie's been wringing out the sympathy towel for his shoulder surgery.  He says it's rotator cuff.  I say it's pussitis.

My God, be a man !!!

My husband had that AND his shoulder bone shaved.  He was wanting to go back to work in 3 weeks. A month before that he had knee surgery.

Big sissy Mary.
