haven't seen it but nothing surprises me in Hollywood. Esp. since Douglas is ill.

Detectives now believe Chasen was killed in a car-to-car shooting, with the assailant firing into the passenger-side window of her Mercedes coupe. Beverly Hills Mayor Jimmy Delshad told The Times that detectives believe a vehicle taller than Chasen's car, perhaps a sport utility vehicle, was involved.

Publicist's Murder Is A Mystery http://www.kfiam640.com/cc-common/mainheadlines3.html?feed=153218&article=7851886 My thoughts are it is someone she knew. It was cold that night, and her window was open, telling me she rolled down the window to talk to someone. ?
Five times in the chest is more rage than an actual "hit". A hit man would use a .22 caliber, probably a revolver, with .22 caliber shorts in it. It would also be to the head. She pissed somebody off and real well, too.
A man believed to be connected to the slaying of veteran Hollywood publicist Ronni Chasen fatally shot himself at a Hollywood hotel Wednesday evening as Beverly Hills police were serving a search warrant there, sources told The Times. The name of the man was not released, and his exact connection to the Chasen murder case was not immediately known. The shooting occurred after 6 p.m., according to two law enforcement sources who spoke on the condition that they not be named. The two sources said police believe he was involved in Chasen's death.
Neighbor Robin Lyle told FoxNews.com on Thursday that he knew the suspect for roughly four months, and he never left the apartment building without wearing gray gardening gloves."He said it was for his protection," Lyle said. "I never knew what that was all about."
Maybe not a hit, but dude was nuttier than squirrel shit.

Cavegal, An interview by Fox of a retired high muck muck in the police or FBI or something brought out an interesting fact. The shooter had to have been exceptional to place 5 rounds in a very tight area to a moving target, at night.New information on the weapon the suicide dude used on himself showed it to have no match to the weapon that killed this woman. Makes me think the weapon was a hand gun.It was also noted that the man in question was never seen without wearing gardening gloves. Was he covering some kind of Tattoos, or perhaps a missing finger or deformity of some kind.?? He said he wore them for protection, could be some kind of skin disease.?
The gun recovered from a man who commited suicide at a Hollywood apartment appears to be the same one that killed veteran Hollywood publicist Ronni Chasen, according to a law enforcement source. The Beverly Hills Police Department has called 3 p.m. news conference to discuss the case, though no details were provided.
The Beverly Hills PD now says it believes Ronni Chasen's murder was a random act of violence -- a robbery gone bad -- committed by a man on a bicycle. According to the police the gun that Harold Smith used to kill himself last week was the very same gun used to murder Chasen.Police say they believe Smith acted alone and it was in no way connected with road rage -- an operating theory last week.
